Bank holidays, the official non-working public holidays in Cyprus, as announced by the government of Cyprus for the current year.
Currently the reference rates are usually updated by 15:00 CET on every working day, except on TARGET closing days. They are based on a regular daily concertation procedure between central banks across Europe and worldwide, which normally takes place at 14:15 CET.
* From As of 1 July 2016 the reference rates will be updated at around 16:00 CET.

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) is the independent public supervisory Authority responsible for the supervision of the investment services market and transactions in transferable securities carried out in the Republic of Cyprus.
CySEC was established in accordance with section 5 of the Securities and Exchange Commission (Establishment and Responsibilities) Law of 2001 as a public legal entity. The operation of CySec is governed by the Laws regulating the Structure, Responsibilities, Powers, Organization of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission and Other Related Matters (N73(I)/1009).
The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a private corporate body functioning under special law and is financially independent, free of any influence by the state. The Chamber is funded by its members’ subscription fees and through income generated from a number of services it provides.
